Large capacity drum twister to produce LV/MV Cables or MILLIKEN Conductors.

Designed for cables up to 145mm diameter

Main specifications:

• Rotation speed : 65 RPM
• Line speed : 100m/min
• Lay-length : from 100 up to 2500mm (electronically adjustable)
• Working direction; right to left

Delivery includes:

• 5 x 2600mm Fork type Rotating Pay-off, 14 Tons capacity (DC motor)
• 2 x Tangential Taping head: 4 pads of 600 mm each, separate motor
• 1 x 3000mm Rotating Caterpillar 3.000 daN
• 1 x 4000mm Rotating Take up, 30 Tons capacity (lay length adjustable through built in AC motor)
• 1 x 4000mm Central Pay off for steel wire armouring, 30 Tons capacity
• Sector sensing system for prespiralled conductor cabling
• Longitudinal tapers for Milliken.
• Electrical cabinets

Bobbins loading by crane (no lifting platform included)

• Line shaft for 4 Pay-off 2600mm (with variable speed pulleys for sector correction) and the 4000mm Central Pay off
