RAUTOMEAD RS 3000/6 Upwards Vertical Casting Line

Casting line designed to produce oxygen-free highly conductive copper wire rods with a standard section of 8 mm (can be adapted for the production of copper wire up to 12.7 mm).

The configuration of the line is such that it includes a continuous process of melting, forming and casting, using electrolytically refined grade “A” copper raw material. Thanks to its design, no  additional housing for melting is required.

The casing of the line is made of materials such as solid, “rigid” graphite, which is resistant to high pressure and prevents the spread of inert gases into the environment.

The furnace contains a robust manufactured steel shell, mounted on a channel.

The production process simultaneously produces 6 vertical wires (rods).

The nominal capacity is 5700 t/year (49 weeks of production), which is an average of 700 kg/h.
Batch capacity is 2500 kg.
